2013 Roundup

Hi,

Even though I haven't even been blogging for a full year, I wanted to do a roundup post for 2013, just to look back at my, and your, favourites.

Let's go!

Lots more after the jump!

I will just be listing some of my favourite and most popular (views, comments) designs and posts, the names in bold will take you directly to that post. These are in no particular order!

Sparkly stamped snowflakes
I love the super sparkly base on these! I could also finally use my snowflake stamping plate, haha. I really should use it again though, before spring creeps up on us.

Cool Blue Floral Stamping.
I kind of discovered how much I enjoy wearing soft shades of blue on my nails this year, and this combo of blue and purple is a favourite of mine now.

L'Hiver by Renaissance Cosmetics.
Honestly, I am in love with this shade. In fact, I'm wearing it again today! L'Hiver is the perfect pale, soft blue filled with small glitter and a golden glow. Mmf.

Ben Kenney Burn the Tapes artwork.
This is an older one I did for the music themed day of the OMD nail art challenge I completed in July.
This is probably my most succesful nail art design, and I'm still proud of it.

Lady Gaga Applause artwork.
Some more album artwork I'm pretty proud of :)
I did these when Gaga's new single Applause just came out, and I was so glad a lot of people liked these! Instead of, you know, just seeing it as a couple of bright blobs ;)

Superpink Glitter Gradient.
I couldn't leave out a glitter gradient, could I? I did these for my birthday in september, and umm, over the top pink glitter? Yes please!

Godfather of Pearl by Catrice.
Also pretty recent, but I only just discovered this amazing effect topcoat. I'm guessing it would look great over a pink or dark purple base too..

Space Dust Stamping.
This was my first try stamping on a textured base, and I digged it a lot!

Splatter!
Doing splatter nails was on my to-do list for a while, and I'm glad I finally did it. Totally messy, but totally worth it, in my opinion.

I also wanted to mention some of the brands I have had the opportunity to work with this year, thank you so much for letting me try out your pretties! <3

Mont Bleu crystal nail file and manicure set / Daphine holiday polishes / Loaded Lacquer Texting on the Dancefloor / Foxy Paws I live for the Applause

Thank you all for reading and all of your comments! I really appreciate it a lot. I'll be back on the 31st with some new years nails!

Which of these was your favourite? Did I miss yours? Is there anything in particular you'd like to see more (or less) of on Squeaky Nails in 2014?
